Lots of new snow at beginning of the Nationals, below 20 over night! Warm-up with few showers in second half of week brought little bit headache for coaches/waxtechnicians. In spite of it both girls, Heather and Zoe, fought for good results.

Zoe has got in short (5 K) and long (10 K) distance race, both free technique, repeatedly 18th. In medium distance race classic, which was actualy as long as short one, finished 24th. In sprint classic she finished 33rd.

Heather finished twice 6th in medium (5 K) distance race classic and long (7.5 K) distance race by free technique. In sprint held by classic technique she captured 14th place after slower warm-up in the qualification.

In according to plan Heather and her coach Petr also raced one week later in La Tuque last race of Quebec Cup. On rapidly disappearing snow both of them won their categories.

Last season is gone, training for new season has already began.
