This is a less intensive program designed to expose developing athletes with a physical and psychological basis for making significant advances.
It is desirable that athletes commit to a year-round program, but the Society will consider 6-month (minimum) programs.
The Society (Coach) will work with these athletes at designated times.
The Society and coach anticipate that certain developing athletes may advance significantly in the program, in which case the athlete, the parents, and the coach may consider a transition to the High Performance Program.
Specific expectations of the Society, the coach, the athlete and the parents/guardian will be set out in an Athlete Protocol tailored to the athlete and existing club support. This summary serves as guidance for developing the Protocol.
